French 19th century ciborium in gilt silver and gilt metal with original leather storage box.

Height 12in (30.5cm), width of base 5.5 in (14cm), receptacle diameter (4in) 10cm.

This ciborium is beautifully crafted with a refined pattern of foliage and leaves. The receptacle is silver and bears the 19th century French silver hallmark of Minerva. The stem and base are of gilt metal. It comes with its original leather storage box, restored and in good condition.
