Ordering Bespoke Vestments
Ordering a bespoke vestment can be quite a daunting task, but we aim to make the process as simple as possible. Please follow the steps below as an initial guide of ordering a bespoke vestment.
Step 1. Choose your dalmatic / tunicle style
The first step in creating your bespoke dalmatic or tunicle is to choose the style of your vestment. We can accommodate any preference, including a choice of contrasting or outline orphreys - as well as an option for Sarum-style orphreys.
Whether you already have a clear vision of your ideal vestment, or are unsure where to start with the design choices, we are here to help. Contact us to start the conversation.
Step 2. Choose your fabric and braid combinations
The next step is to choose your fabrics, trims, and lining. We are pleased to offer over 200 exclusive fabrics, as well as a wide range of braids. Our experienced design team is on hand to guide you through the possible combinations, and to help with decision making if needed. Below is an example of the elements you can choose.
-
In this example, we used our exclusive 'Bellini' silk damask in Oyster & Old Gold as the main fabric, paired with Blue/Gold 'Coronation' orphreys.
-
To match the two fabrics, we used our exclusive Bellini Blue 'Diamond & Lay' braid to edge the orphreys.
-
The complete vestment is finished with our Bellini Blue small cord around the neckline and blue lining to unify the vestment.
