Dove Banner
This banner was made for a church in Texas. It measures 63” x 36”, with delicate embroidery on a background of 100% silk pile silver velvet.
The banner features a hand-embroidered dove with olive branch, worked in appliqué directly onto our Azure/Faience ‘Quatrefoil’ with the top section of the banner in our Azure/Gold ‘Quatrefoil’ brocade.
The lower section of the banner features appliqués of the customer’s own embroidery, extracted from antique kneelers. The banner is trimmed with our Old Gold ‘Trail’ braid and Bright Gold Rayon fringe and lined in a natural linen.
