Gothic Silk & Gilt Damask
A lumiyarn thread colourway of Watts' best-known fabric. 'Gothic' has been continuously in production since 1874. It is based on the patterned robe worn by St Andrew in the Ranworth Rood Screen (St Helen's church, Norfolk, England) – one of only two surviving medieval screens in England. The pattern is cited to have been re-drawn and designed by both G.F. Bodley and Thomas Garner, two of Watts & Co.'s founders.
It is available in a large variety of Bodley colours, to suit all vestments. Also available in a pure silk version.
Price is per metre. To order fabric samples, please select the 'Sample' option below. Order 6 samples for the price of one.
