This archive piece is part of extensive work that Watts has undertaken for St Paul’s Knightsbridge, London, over the last 100 years. It was the subject of extensive restoration, which included remounting the embroideries onto our Cream Gothic Silk Damask. 

The embroidery is based on the style of High and Late Medieval Opus Anglicanum work.
