This is a silver-gilt ciborium adorned with a covering. It features a circular base, and both the bowl and lid are decorated with embossed motifs of leaf cuttings, interspersed with crosses. These crosses are crowned by a larger cross situated atop a globe. The stem, or knot, of the ciborium is beautifully detailed with ten gadroons and embellishments known as amatis.
