Bolton Mitre
The Bolton Mitre is in the Watts ‘standard’ shape, at a height of 10” when worn. The main fabric is our White ‘Alton’ cotton damask with orphreys in our Blue ‘Talbot’ damask. The Bolton range echoes the numinosity of Pugin’s glasswork, many examples of which may be found at Bolton Abbey. The mitre is trimmed in Blue/Gold Diamond and Lay braid, with lappets finished with Blue/Gold Diamond and Lay fringe.
