Watts’ embroidered Dove cope brings together our exclusive traditional fabrics with the highest quality artistic embroidery. The cope hood was designed in-house and drawn by hand, before being rendered for embroidery.

The main fabric is our Red Pentecost brocade, which is based on a G.F. Bodley embroidery design, and on the ceremonial robes of the French Order of the Holy Spirit. The Bellini Blue & Black Gothic Silk Damask was chosen for the hood as an effective contrast and to signify the presence of Our Lady in the upper room at Pentecost.
