One of the earliest designs in the Watts collection, this fabric was drawn from Carlo Crivelli's Madonna and Child and designed by one of our founders, Thomas Garner. Its elaborate and bold symmetrical pattern features stylised flowers, foliage, and crowns.

The air of nobility of our 'Van der Weyden' lends itself to a wide range of uses, from vestments, to dossal curtains, to orphreys.
