Windsor Tapestry - Tennyson

The design of this woven cotton fabric dates from c.1790. Originally taken from a 17th-century silk tapestry, the motif incorporates wild birds perching on vines blooming with flowers, with their heads turned towards ripe bunches of  grapes. Beautifully woven in a versatile colour palette on a cotton cream ground, the Windsor Tennyson is a perfect fabric for all seasons.
