Ceremonial Robes

Watts & Co. is proud to craft the finest academic and ceremonial robes alongside its ecclesiastical offerings. Drawing on its specialist knowledge and experience in bespoke craftmanship, Watts’ gowns and robes combine the very best of traditional tailoring techniques with the highest quality fabrics and trimmings.

All our bespoke items are made in-house in our own atelier in the heart of Westminster, so you can be assured of a personalised service. Every item is unique and given the utmost care and attention, from initial enquiry through to the final stages of design and finish. Our customer service is best in class, so you will be in excellent hands if you ever need a future alteration.

As well as robes, we offer all types of custom hand-embroidered badges and banners for your Livery Companies and Guilds. Our embroidered seals and crests are made to your own specifications. We are also uniquely placed to be able to offer custom fabrics, either based on one of our exclusive designs, or woven entirely to your designs.

Watts gowns and robes have played their part in several royal events, including the coronation of King Charles III. We successfully recreated historical gowns, while sensitively updating them for more practical modern use, as well as adjusting them to achieve a perfect fit for our clients. Watts is also proud to have supplied chorister State Uniforms for the Chapel Royal.

Whatever your livery, academic or ceremonial needs, we look forward to receiving your enquiry and discussing your requirements.
